Denise Sangster, CEO of Global Touch, Inc®, was featured in the Amplifed Group’s “Get Amplified” podcast series led by Vicky Reddington, Co-Founder of the Amplified Group, and Sam Routledge, former CTO at Softcat (UK). Sangster and her hosts discussed the future of partners in the consumption era, including the future of partners as IT companies embrace SaaS and other consumption models.

Reddington commented about this podcast, “We were really excited to speak with Denise Sangster on our Get Amplified podcast. As a top 10 Most Influential Women in Tech, and with her vast experience of consulting with many leading tech companies on their partner strategy, we knew how relevant this conversation would be to our audience of leaders within the tech industry.”

Sangster’s comments during the podcast highlight the value partners bring to customers and the IT industry, especially around SaaS and telemetry. “SaaS introduces a new set of complexity to an organization, and that’s where partners do really well. Where there is complexity, there is margin, and when I look at SaaS, I see the value-add through consultancy, app development, and telemetry that partners can bring” to customers.

Sangster also discussed the growing importance of partners adding new types of customer engagement as the industry moves towards a consumption world.  She believes that partners utilizing a customer success manager and delivering telemetry about products are formulating the ultimate next generation customer stickiness built on top of lifecycle engagement.

The podcast also reviewed Global Touch’s new Partner Outlook Survey Results™. The survey results identify global trends through a broad partner community.
